As Host City of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 (ESC), Rotterdam will become the (inter) national calling card of Dutch creativity, innovation and connection. And the epitome of raw Rotterdam resilience. Rotterdammers and partners show that unique circumstances are not a limitation, but logically lead to an equally unique edition of the festival! Right now we are showing where connection, diversity, inclusion and togetherness lead in Rotterdam: a special event for everyone, in special times.

As a city, we are aware of the need for circularity. Our city decorations are therefore 90% circular. With this, we want to show every inhabitant of Rotterdam, visitor and viewer of the Song Contest that we, as Host City, take our responsibility and to be an example for the rest of the world.

Our circular promise
